I HIGHLY recommend the PASLODE framing nailer buy one and free yourself.A one-year warranty will apply to all parts, except those listed below as normal wearing parts, or parts which are specifically covered by an extended warranty.Ī five-year warranty will apply to all molded nylon parts:Ī 90-day warranty applies to the following parts, which are considered normal wearing parts: I can't imagine how we every performed building construction without nail guns, and I feel sorry for those who are bound by compressors and hoses. I thought it might become a bit heavy during all-day use, but we were passing it back and forth for more than a couple of 12-hour days and didn't give it a second thought. ![]() I bought mine for a basement finishing project and it served well my 16 year old son and I used it every day for weeks, and the lack of an air hose alone made all the difference in the world. The PASLODE is POWERFUL, DURABLE, EASY to use and maintain, and a downright PLEASURE to use. I sided with the BAMMER finish nailer about 10 years ago, and while that device is still performing well (tip: buy all the BAMMER fuel cells you can, they are beginning to disappear from the market), I can already tell my PASLODE framing nailer is of superior design. ![]() VHS video tape wars of long ago, I was caught in the PASLODE vs. Maybe it wouldn't be suitable for professional crews, but for us weekend handymen, it's perfect. It is genuinely FUN to use, and an excellent item. I'm in the middle of building a clubhouse for my kids, and this nail gun has been a lifesaver. Thus far, no misfires, after 6 hours of use. This nail gun requires a firm pressing of the gun against the work to engage the interlock that is a mild annoyance sometimes, but is seldom a real issue. Sure, there are some things to get used to. It drives the nails forcefully, and the depth adjustment on it works as advertised. Takes less than 5 minutes after opening the case before you're driving nails. The nail gun arrived, I purchased fuel cells and nails, and fired it up. Paslode has a good reputation, and I basically picked it on that basis. Once that decision was made, then it was time to pick the brand of nail gun. So I decided to purchase a cordless nail gun. Decisions abound.which type? Pneumatic or cordless? I finally made my decision based on the facts that (a) a good compressor and a good nail gun were going to cost about the same as a cordless nail gun and (b) I would probably not use the nail gun as much if I had to haul out an air compressor every time I used it. For years, I've always done all my building projects with hammer and nails and decided that it was time to purchase a nail gun. I'm not a professional carpenter, just a weekend handyman. ![]() ![]() I can afford the "tall red fuel cells" but would rather have been able to use cells I already had on hand.Įxperience with Paslode guns tells me I'll likely get good and long service from this purchess. The line that implied the gun, battery and fuel went together was misleading because the first thing that caught my eye when I unpacked my new gun was a prominate red lable stating "USE ONLY TALL RED FUEL CELLS IN THIS UNIT". Since I already owned several spare yellow fuel cells for my other two nailers I ordered the Cordless IMCT Nailer naturally thinking I already had fuel for it. Therefore I had to assume they all would work with the framing nailer I orderd. That line showed the framing nailer + battery + package of yellow gas fuel cells all went with each other. However the page I ordered the framing nailer from implied the yellow cartridges went with the framing nailer displayed in the section saying "these were often bought together". I ordered this unit partly because of good experience with a Paslode gas trim nailer I use.
